MuggleCast to host live podcast in London for Beedle!
Fans may remember last summer when MuggleCast hosted a live podcast in the heart of London at Waterstone's Piccadilly.

Now, we're very excited to announce that Jamie, Matt, Elysa and I will be back at the same store for their Tales of Beedle the Bard release party! We'll be hosting a live podcast shortly before the midnight release, and Waterstone's will also play host to a variety of other entertainment throughout the night.

Tickets will cost 5 pounds for the event, which INCLUDES Beedle the Bard itself (the rest is for the live MuggleCast and other entertainment). Tickets will be available soon and we'll make another post as soon as they're ready for purchase. The event will be limited to 500 tickets, with a limit of 4 per person, so stay tuned to MuggleNet to make sure you grab your spots!

This page will stay updated with the latest details. We can't wait to see everyone there!

MuggleCast 162 delayed until Wednesday
We had planned on having our Potter politics show released today to time with the United States election tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the internet and cable went out at my house this morning and the internet at school is not downloading the panel's audio files quickly. At this point, I can't have the show finished before my classes tonight.

As I'll be busy with classes and the election tomorrow, the show will now be released Wednesday. The good news is that you still have two new episodes to listen to that have been released in the past 8 days (Episodes 160 and 161).

We apologize for the delay, and we look forward to sharing Episode 162 with you! We had a great discussion on politics in the Harry Potter series.

Thanks to everyone who responded to the post I made just below this one. I'm currently sorting through applications and will respond to a couple of people soon.

We greatly appreciate the help offered from all of you who applied, and we will hold onto all of the applications in case we need to hire new people in the future. Thanks again!

Vote for MuggleCast at the 2008 Podcast Awards!
Does everyone remember the 2006 Podcast Awards? When we won Peoples Choice thanks to all of YOU? Check out a picture of all of us holding the award right here.

Well, we weren't allowed to participate in the 2007 awards because of our big win the previous year. BUT, 2008 allows us to be a part of the awards again, and we need your help!

For the 2008 awards, we are nominating MuggleCast for Best Entertainment Podcast. To vote: Click here, scroll down to the nomination form, and put the follow information in the "Entertainment" category:

- Where it says 'Podcast Name', put "MuggleCast"
- Where it says 'Podcast URL' , put "http://www.mugglecast.com"

But wait! There's more! If you're also a listener of our Twilight podcast, we ask that you help us get that show nominated too!

In the Peoples Choice category:
- Where it says 'Podcast Name', put Imprint
- Where it says 'Podcast URL', put http://www.twilightsource.com/imprint.php

In the Cultural/Arts category:

Then scroll to the bottom of the nomination form, fill out the personal information, and submit! Please only submit the form ONCE. Submitting multiple times will just block out all of your votes. Nominations only run until the 30th, so please hurry! Thanks to everyone for their support!
Update on our feedback form
Most of you know that we've been having problems with our feedback form here on MuggleCast.com.

Because of this, we have decided to merge it into MuggleNet's. So, from now on, please use the MuggleNet Feedback Form to submit your feedback.

Also, we'll be recording a new episode of MuggleCast later this week and we want your thoughts on the trial verdict and the Half-Blood Prince screening that Eric attended in Chicago. Put that feedback form to work!
